TOURISM
During 2009, revenues from tourismdecreased 11.3% YOY, being the worst figure recordedin 27 years. According to estimates from the Sectur,last year the country had US$11.8 billion revenuesfrom tourism against the US$13.3 billion registered in2008. Furthermore, last year there was a 6% YOYcontraction in total international tourists. Lastly,Sectur expects a 6% YOY growth for this year in termson number of tourists.

BEVERAGES
The Ministry of Economy authorized anamount of 250,000 tons of sugar for import purposes,in order to cover the national demand, due to lowerinventories levels.

TELECOM
According to the Ministry ofCommunications and Transportation, the 1.9 and 1.7GHz auction will not be affected by the injunctionsfiled by CEL and MVS.
